The Founding of Friends Foundation of Thailand.
The Friends Foundation of Thailand was founded by the CEO of SWIFT Company Limited in the year 2007 with the noble intention to extend and offer a sound and good education to the poor children, especially the children of the Thai Farmers. In that noble goal, SWIFT Company Limited has contributed a part of the company's annual turnover income to this Friends Foundation of Thailand.
Most Thai Farmers are poverty stricken in the society, with their annual family earn income with no more than Thai Baths 20,000.00 per year. Hence, they survive by the day and their children have little chance to attend school, to be educated.
Those that are lucky enough to have attended school, do complete the highest most, a Grade Six (6) education and could not afford to continue further. Thus, most of them ended up working as unskilled cheap labour, although many do dream, to have a higher tertiary education so that when they graduate, they could have a higher income employment that could alleviate their poor family, to a better living standard. And, in reality, that all knew well, it is indeed just a dream.
The Friends Foundation of Thailand was founded with this sole aim to help these dreams of the poor Farmers, to become a reality. And, the Friends Foundation of Thailand, thus supporting them with good chances for higher education, to improve their future, educating them to be proud, not only being a Thai Farmer, but that a Thai Farmer's struggle is over, unlike before.

Friends Foundation Scope of Activities
Friends Foundation's inspiration and mission is to provide and support poor Thai children with :
1). Education
2). Access to Learning Equipment
3). Lunch project
1). Eduation project - qualification
- age 6-18
- any children that family income not more than 30,000 a year
- children with GPA score of 3.3 or above ( we will support them to the highest education that they can go)
2). Learning Equipment project
- Friends Foundation will provide each selected school with 1 set of computer and the Satellite TV program for distance learning
- Text books, notebook, backpack , pen, pencils etc. will also be provided
3). Sustainable lunch project
- teacher, parent and student will get involve in this sustainable project by
- children age 10 and above with their parents will prepare the soil and grow vegetables organicaly
- we will teach them and provide the CD as to how to grow vegetables, raise chicken, and make organic fertilizer,
- each month , there will be a parents meeting to conclude the result
- all the produce will be use for school lunch
- all these will be funded by Friends Foundation and report by teachers to Friends Foundation
4). Special project
- For any urgent needs that has to do with children
